Leading up to the release of his upcoming album ‘Sada Mo’ab’, Jordanian producer and musician Yazan Sarayrah drops the project’s first preview single, ‘Al Msiri’. The single is a progressive techno rework of Mohammed Murshid Naji’s hit 1982 Yemeni folk song under the same name.
Yazan preserves Naji’s evocative lyricism and original arrangement, balancing elements of techno, from rumbling synths, dramatic buildups, and atmospheric melodies with the nostalgic vibe of traditional Bedouin rhythms.
Mixed and mastered by Yazan himself, the track’s production breathes new life into Naji’s legacy and the Bedouin musical heritage of Yemen with a rave-ready sonic twist.
