The obsession continues with Egyptian indie super-band Hawas, who have releases a stunniong performed a live session of ‘Batal Khareq’.
Since coming together in 2014, the band has made a lot of noise with their funk approach to alternative and indie. Instead of relying on any old formula, Hawas’ live session was an almost-cinematic show full of visual stimulation.
Performing for 45 minutes under mellow, hypnotic hush, the band is capable of turning up when it wants, but took viewers for a more characteristically soothing outing instead.
