scene, spotlighting eight of the scene’s top young rappers to talk everything from from beefs and branding, to entourages and origins. This time round, Eldab3 is in the hot-seat.
First emerging on radars as a self-taught producer, it didn’t take long before some of the more established names on the rap scene sat-up and took notice of Eldab3. Having seemingly found a kindred spirit in Marwan Moussa, Eldab3’s work with the rapper would go someway to putting him on the map, but it’s his eventual crossover into rapping that really cemented his place on the scene, before going on to collaborate with everyone from Egyptian rap favourite, Abo El Anwar, to Shaabi rebel-rousers, Double Zuksh, to Lebanese artist, Blu Feifer.
Beyond the collaborations, however, you needn’t look further than his own solo work to understand what all the fuss is about. Versatile as both rapper and producer, Eldab3 sits on the cusp of joining the elite of Egyptian rap, but he’s keeping his feet firmly on the ground, letting his music do the talking.

وبعيدًا عن الناس اللي هو اشتغل معاها، أنت مش محتاج غير إنك تشوف شغله، سواء كرابر أو بروديوسر، عشان تفهم ليه هو مهم وليه بقى واحد من نجوم المجال ده وهيوصل بشغله لأماكن أكبر وإن مزيكته تقدر تتكلم عنه.
