All glammed up and stepping out of a 70’s show (no, not that one), Sudanese rapper, Soulja, provides a blast from the past in his colourful, glittering new music video, ‘Charleston’.

Referencing the iconic clothing jeans of that era, Charleston, the track sees the rapper express how life is preparing him for stardom. Soulja stays true to his identity and heritage, rapping in his native dialect.
Produced KSA-based Sudanese producer, Monkey, and mixed and mastered by Malaysia-based Egyptian producer, 77, the syncopated, mellow guitar melody, jazzy piano riffs and euphonious saxophone create the perfect match for Soulja’s Sudanese raps and too-cool-for-school demeanour.

The track is the first release from Soulja this year, following a prolific 2020 that saw him gain widespread acclaim for his EP, Nomadic, a year that saw him garner over a million views on his YouTube channel.
