Our latest edition of the Street Cocktail playlist, where the SceneNoise team pick standout tracks from the MENA region across various genres, features music by Saint Levant, Dina El Wedidi, and Hisham Kharma.

Saint Levant dropped his debut full-length album, 'Deira'. Among the many notable tracks on the record, we highlight his collaboration with Algerian rapper TIF, which features emotive horn sections and oriental percussion, creating a poignant backdrop. Saint Levant’s multilingual rapping in English, French and Arabic, paired with TIF’s verse, highlights their distinct styles as Saint Levant contemplates his dreams of returning home.

Next is Dina El Wedidi with the third single, 'Bebeh,' from her upcoming EP 'Benna.' The track is a cover of the folkloric song featured in the iconic movie, 'Date Wine'. The song was written by legendary poet Abdel Rahman el-Abnudi and originally sung by Sherihan. Dina puts her own distinctive touch on the song, weaving in heavy electronic sounds and showcasing her signature vocal style. Additionally, the latest track by Hisham Kharma, titled 'Waiting for the Sun', is part of his latest project highlighting Egypt's beautiful nature, rich history and multicultural heritage.
