We’re back with a new instalment of ‘Rap of the Week’, SceneNoise’s flagship playlist highlighting standout releases in the MENA’s hip-hop and rap scene. This week, our selection features new music from the likes of Dada, 7liwa and Showkey.
Moroccan rap heavyweight Dada ventures into an upbeat club-inspired sound on hit latest release ‘Pull Up’, while Ramoon, Valerieblud, Gustavo 51 and Onzy unite on a punchy, cypher-coded cut ‘Rap N’ Fashion’. Meanwhile, Egyptian rapper Showkey continues his long stream of sporadic releases with ‘Alby Mat’, a shaabi-infused rap tune that showcases his signature, punchy delivery, and Logical Da9ud links up with Haykal and Mehrak on a fusion of jazz and rap, ‘Dawha’.
The playlist also features Virus and R3D with ‘Deir Dibwani’, and Saud G and Elyannis with ‘Up & Down’.
