HHC Unites Regional Electronic Artists on VA Compilation for Lebanon
All proceeds will be directed to local grassroots initiatives providing aid for displaced families in Lebanon.
Beirut-based party series and label, High Hats Community, has released a VA compilation to raise funds for displaced Lebanese families amidst the Israeli attacks across Lebanon.
High Hats Community has been actively pushing for an alternative underground electronic scene in Lebanon, through hosting inclusive parties that focus on experimenting with heavy-bass sounds, like drum and bass, acidcore, gabber, jungle, and industrial techno.
The compilation features 37 tracks exploring intricacies of underground sounds, with contributions from various DJs and producers across the region’s experimental scene, such as D3mor, Azzouni, Willillah, Zmaili, Peaky Beats, and Sam Hoyek.
All proceeds from the VA will be directed to Em Mohamad’s Karentina Kitchen and other local grassroots initiatives providing direct aid on ground.
