Yassin Alsalman, better known as 'Narcy' is an Iraqi-Canadian alternative hip hop artist that is predominantly active in the scenes of Montréal and the Arab World. So far his work has not only been features in movies as 'Voices of Iraq' or 'Fast and Furious 7' but he is also working as an actor besides being a professor in the Fine Arts department at Concordia University where he holds two courses based around media and narrative, and music and social change. In his musical work he effortlessly combines strong messages with often Middle-East influenced sounds, fascinating vocal samples, beautiful melodies  and a high intensity flow.
