Aziz Maraka
Aziz considers himself as a citizen of the Arab world: born in Tunisia to a Palestinian father and a Lebanese mother, the Jordanian musician feels at home wherever his passion for music leads him. From a really young age he started singing and playing the piano and even became first place in a nationwide competition for music competition as a freshman in college. After studying music in Jordan and at the University of Arkansas in the US, he composed his first album which would later lead to his breakthrough in Jordan and the whole Arab world later. Known for his eclectic and unexpected music, the singer and composer soon became regionally known as the creator of "Razz", a music style that describes an Arabic Rock-Jazz fusion.
