Select 113: Mixed by Omar Zahran

In a sea of DJs progressively getting harder and harsher with their sound, it’s nice to hear fresh talent embracing something lighter and more eclectic. With that in mind, our 113th Select podcast comes courtesy of Egyptian, DJ Omar Zahran. The up-and-comer has done the rounds at venues across Cairo such as The Tap and Clubhouse, following a mixing course with Zeina in 2017, and is set to inject some much needed disco, house and break into the scene. Check out his latest set recorded for us colored in 90s house, funk and some minimal featuring tracks from the likes of Tom Hooker, Peven Everett, Ralph Rosario and Tim Fuller.
