Select 082: Mixed by Hashem

This week we’ve decided to mix things up a bit for our 82nd Select. We got our hands on a special set from a standout Egyptian DJ who does it all except for khabt when he’s behind the decks. Hashem El Saifi is no up and comer in the scene, he’s the guitarist of local indie band Living Too Late, a seasoned DJ and producer under his name with gigs at Some Weekend and our very own Noise Sessions under his belt, and works with music production school EPIC 101.

For this set Hashem showed off his exquisite taste in music with a selection that boasts an array of rock-flavors and some electronica from the likes of BEAK>, Sean Nicholas Savage, Anika, Deerhunter, Spoon, Kikagaku Moyo. There really is no scenario where this set wouldn’t fit in perfectly.
