Select 075: Mixed by Kidmims;

For episode 75 of our weekly Select podcast we have a mix from one of Egypt’s most prominent female DJs, Maie El Sabi aka Kidmims;. Popping up on the scene around five years ago, Maie has cemented herself as one of Cairo’s essential deck-dazzlers, landing steady gigs at nearly every major venue.

In this mix Kidmims; shows us the underground side to her sound with a mix that traverses all different textures of house from groovy, soulful house to lo-fi and minimal, incorporating tracks from the likes of Laszlo Dancehall, D-Formation, Session Victim and Fort Romeau. Overall the mix is perfectly enjoyable in both house party or listening session scenarios.
