If you’ve been raving in Dubai lately, then you’ve probably come - and likely been blown away - by Maat’s music, as you can always find him in clubs like the city’s infamous Analog Room, or shaking the small room of a festival like Groove On the Grass. Real name Mattia Stragapede, Maat is a Dubai-based Italian DJ who has held a passion for electronic music since his teenage years, which he spent much of on different dancefloors around Europe - a period in his life that still very much shapes the sound that has made him one of the best in Dubai’s flourishing underground scene. Maat is also the man behind ECHO Sound; a special night that has brought the likes of Rhadoo, Cezar, Ion Ludwig and Priku to UAE.


But enough chit-chat - the man has taken time to record this week's select for us and has delivered a set built on the hypnotic minimal cuts that best define his eclectic sound.
