Ultra Music Festival Abu Dhabi Cancelled in the Wake of Coronavirus Panic
The first edition Middle East-held edition of the globetrotting Ultra Music Festival has been cancelled due to the increasing number of travel restrictions in the UAE.

The first edition of Ultra Music Festival Abu Dhabi has been cancelled, with organizers taking the decision following an increasing number of travel restrictions placed by the Emirati government in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
The two-day event, which was set to take place on March 5th and 6th in the Middl East’s biggest open air venue, Yas Island’s du Arena, boasted an impressive international line-up that included the likes of Afrojack and Major Lazer. The festival, which holds events across the world, was to be the centerpiece of Abu Dhabi Music Week, between March 1st and 14th, and is the latest in a string of high-profile events to be cancelled in the UAE.
Another debuting event, the DJ Mag Middle East Conference, was set to launch today, but was cancelled last week.
While Ultra Music Festival organisers have promised to rearrange the festival, not details have yet been revealed.
