Fallen from space and onto the streets of Cairo, armed with DJ mixers and other nifty gadgets, Sebzz – a.k.a. Ahmed El Sebai – managed to take over the scene in less than a year. You can hear him play in damn near every club in the country, and his online sets have been played on international radio shows. His online series, Limitless, has been garnering major support from dance music fans within Egypt and beyond. At its 18th episode, we decided to give it a review.A techno set with a touch of deep and tech house, the artist utilises tracks by Tone Depth, Karmon, Dan Caster, Microvibez, Drum Soundsystem, Son Dos, and many more. He starts out with an ethnic vibe, then moves on to other territories before moving back towards its ethnic home base. Very ethereal at parts and very dance floor friendly at others, the set is perfect for the car on a long drive out of town or a day out in the sun. It could work in many other situations also, so don't be afraid to pop it on at the after party – you won't be disappointed.
