Skepta to Perform DJ set at Soho Garden DXB on December 6th

Following his first ever Grammy nomination, UK rapper and grime trailblazer, Skepta, is set to perform a DJ set in the UAE on December 6th at SoHo Garden DXB.

The London-born veteran earned his nomination in the 2026 Best Dance/Electronic Recording category for ‘Victory Lap’ with Fred Again. 

Although globally celebrated for rap anthems like 'Shutdown' and 'Vorsprung durch Technik’, Skepta’s recent foray into DJing marks something of a full circle moment. The versatile artist, who has dabbled in fashion design and filmmaking, first cut his teeth in music as a DJ in 2002 as part of grim collective, Median Crew, playing sets on pirate radio and underground stations like Heat FM - a platform that was also a launchpad for future stars such as Dizzee Rascal, Tinchy Stryder, Chip and Wretch 32.

Joining him on the lineup is Jus Jammin - a member of Más Tiempo, the house music record label founded by Skepta and fellow grime veteran, Jammer, as well as Dubai-based DJ, SHAEREID.
