At this year’s edition of XP Music Futures set to take place in Riyadh 7th-9th December, amongst several sessions curated by SceneNoise will be a music production workshop with multi-platinum Egyptian-Australian producer Khaled Rohaim. With a long list of credits along his illustrious career, Rohaim stands as one of the region’s most accomplished producers. In this workshop, he will share his deep musical knowledge, industry advice, and a behind the scenes look into how the world’s biggest pop songs are made.
Rohaim will break down some of his hit productions and how he built them from scratch, going over everything from chord progressions to melody writing to finding the perfect flow in a production session. The workshop will be aimed at music producers looking to expand their skills and knowledge by looking into the sounds, loops, plug-ins, and workflows that helped Rohaim build his long-standing career.
Among Khaled Rohaim’s credits is production work for Doja Cat, Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Zayn Malik, Meghan Trainor, Travis Scott, The Kid LAROI, and many more. The producer has family ties to some of the MENA region’s biggest artists, with his father having toured with Omar Khorshid as his musical director and keyboard player. Rohaim has frequently expressed his interest in helping to contribute to the MENA region’s growing music scene, and this workshop at XP Music Futures is set to see that vision come to fruition.
