The Ramallah-rooted BLTNM label, or family as their camaraderie seems to suggest, refused to rest dormantly during a gruelling year for the Palestinian people in the face of a heightened exercise of military power from occuping forces in the Palestinian territories, with BLTNM’s newest recruit Daboor’s ‘Inn Ann’ serving as an anthem and rallying call for Palestinian fortitude during the war on the embattled city of Gaza, and the group remaining characteristically outspoken on the liberation movement.
The collective’s loyal bltnsupport base, which borders on a cult following, is now being invited to the first ever BLTNM Festival, a one-day event boasting a rich lineup of the homegrown musicians whose distinctly edged craft of trap has redefined the evolving tapestry that is Arab hip hop.
It’ll feature the entire BLTNM team, with Shabjdeed, Al Nather, Daboor, Fawzi, Jude Heib, Shabmouri, Elbor3e, Sakt, Abul3le and Revu.
Set to take place on Friday, 3rd September 2021, the event will start at 6PM and go on until 11PM, at the Ramallah venue Let’s Go Karting, Rafat St, Nasyoon.
