Lege-Cy Surprise Drops Slow-Burner ‘ERMINI’

Egyptian rapper and singer Lege-Cy has just released a new single, ‘Ermini’, a continuation of the sound he explored on his hit with Ismail Nosrat. ‘Law Nasyany’.

Produced and written by Lege-Cy himself, the track navigates themes of heartbreak, disillusionment and emotional loss. While his signature string-driven production is still present, Lege-Cy adopts a more minimalistic and mellow approach that complements his introspective lyricism and melodic delivery. The track ends with a female vocal sample in the outro singing back the hook, ‘Lw msh fare’ maaky ermini’.

Although it’s been a minute since Lege-Cy tapped into his rap purist roots, he seems to have cracked the code to the stripped-down pop sound he’s been exploring since ‘El Neyya’, and he’s doing it in a way only he can.
