Enigmatic Munich-based DJ and producer Michael Miethig, also known as Innellea, has revealed the details of his debut album and live tour, 'The Belonging', set to be released on February 3rd, 2024. In support of the album, Innellea will be embarking on an extensive world tour, with recently announced dates in Cairo, Dubai, Riyadh and more. The album, a genre-bending exploration of French Indie, Dance and Ukrainian Electro, will be released under Innellea's new imprint, Distorted Youth, in collaboration with [PIAS] Électronique.
'The Belonging' is a multimedia concept that encompasses a wide range of artistic expressions. The album will feature collaborations with renowned artists such as Flowdan, Monolink, CamelPhat, Karin Park, and Juan Hansen, amongst others.
'The Belonging' aims to provide relief from the weight of repressed emotions and offer a sense of belonging in a world that often feels alienating and violent. With a focus on existentialism and our innate ability to create meaning, the tour will celebrate unity and self-discovery, offering a glimmer of hope amidst these uncertain times.
Since bursting onto the scene, Innellea has garnered praise for his intricate rhythms and has become a secret weapon for many DJs and producers. His tracks, such as ‘Viglians’ and ‘The World Returns’, have found a home on esteemed labels like Afterlife and Innervisions.
