Husa & Zeyada to Host Soundscool Showcases in Montreal and Toronto

Following the launch of their Dahab-born record imprint, Soundscool, internationally acclaimed Canadian-Egyptian live electronic duo Husa & Zeyada head to Canada for two label showcases.

Kicking off in Montreal on September 4th before touching down in Toronto on September 11th, the two-city run marks a major full-circle moment for co-founder Adam Husa, who traces his roots back to Montreal’s underground party scene with FrontRite and Husa Sounds before relocating to Egypt, where he linked up with singer-songwriter Zeyada to forge their signature blend of hypnotic deep house and synth-heavy indie dance.

Conceived in their coastal Sinai studio as both a record imprint and an open collaborative playground, Soundscool was built to push the peripheries of dance music, bridging Middle Eastern electronic influences with global dancefloors. The dual Canadian showcases translate that philosophy into two distinct, multi-act experiences curated alongside local tastemakers.

The tour begins on Friday, September 4th at 1055 Boul St. Laurent in Montreal, presented in collaboration with FrontRite and Husa Sounds. The lineup features Husa & Zeyada alongside Toronto staple Mustafa Ismaeel, New York’s Saqib, Hermit, and live performances from Credi and Pete Philips.

The showcase then moves west to Toronto on Friday, September 11th, taking over Hotel X Toronto in partnership with Narratives, Floral Nights, and MaybeNextTime. Centered around another feature set from Husa & Zeyada, the night brings together Berlin pioneer Mad Motor Miquel and Mustafa Ismaeel, supported by Montreal’s rising talent Manu and local Toronto favorite Thomas Hernan.
