Acclaimed Egyptian sound alchemist Ahmed Al Ghazoli, better known by his stage name ZULI, embarks on an Asian tour this coming April. He'll be bringing his signature blend of experimental sounds and hard-hitting club bangers to various cities across the continent. The tour kicks off in Singapore 90th March, makes a stop in Tokyo mid-tour, and culminates in a closing concert at Beijing 20th April.
In recent years, ZULI has carved out a niche in the European club scene with his unique brand of electronic music. His consistent touring and experimental, deconstructive approach have solidified his reputation as a one-of-a-kind act. This April, ZULI brings his signature formula – a blend of hyper-abstract electronics infused with bass, jungle, and rave – to the selected Asian cities.
ZULI's career began in the early 2010s with collaborations alongside hip-hop legend Abyusif. Back then, under the moniker Swag Lee, he played a pivotal role in reshaping the Egyptian hip-hop scene. However, his artistic journey took a radical turn towards more abstract electronic territories.
