Colossus Vault, a digital archive dedicated to experimental music across the region, is launching the first edition of its listening session series in Cairo, Egypt on Saturday 24th of January , spotlighting both emerging and established figures from the city’s underground club scene.
Through events, releases, and collaborations, the platform explores how altered audio, manipulated frequencies, and fractured sonic structures reshape the way music and visuals are experienced.
Titled ‘Memory Slot I’, the event will offer attendees an ethereal audio-visual experience that challenges club norms, helmed by a lineup of eclectic selectors and producers, including Albystander and MED5 with a hybrid set, Azzouni playing a live DJ set, alongside Colossus Vault’s founder, Jomania - who will showcase her debut album ‘Archetype’ - and Onsy. The night will also feature a ritualistic tarot reading sanctum and a PS2 gaming corner.
The event will take place at a private location, revealed to registered guests, and kicks off at 4 PM. For tickets and registration details, DM @colossus.vault on Instagram.
