Egyptian DJ and music producer Marwan El Swaisy (aka Sewwes) pays tribute to his Middle Eastern roots in his new track, a rework of the infamous Fayrouz song “Al Bosta” featuring Adham Roshdy, a professional bassist, vocalist and multi instrumentalist, that plays the groovy bass guitar on this track.

Sewwes, known for for his vibrant minimal tech and progressive mixes, uses this track as an opportunity to yet again showcase his more playful jazz and funk side. Unlike any other Fayrouz remix you’ve heard, Sewwes reworks her song swiftly in a way that doesn’t take away from her soulful vocals, but simply funks it up and makes it dance floor worthy. Released just in time for Summer 2018, this track would be a great addition to beach and pool parties of the season.
