Oman-born LA-based Adam Nabeel teams up with French-Canadian rapper Naiim for the emotionally charged Face Time. Addressing some lost lover, Nabeel spits intensely on successes, relationship regrets, and a desire to not fully let go of the past over a thumping, tightly produced guitar-led trap beat by Dubai’s Ay The Producer.
Later on Naiim slides in to close out the track, rhyming in English and French with equal skill. Bringing some more intentionally harder-hitting lines than his counterpart on the track. Naiim’s verse is the highlight of Face Time, and one can clearly hear him expertly channeling flows akin to those of rap giants Young Thug and Gunna.
