Morocco’s Newest Trap Powerhouse Somnii Signals Its Arrival with ‘Loop’

Brothers Yazid and Fattah Bezaz have been one of the driving forces behind the expansion of Moroccan trap scene in more recent times. Having previously collaborated with trap phenomenon Issam, their newest project is a music label/collective by the name of Somnii. Consisting of artists Amyn, Daxin, Sygma and A.Boi alongside Fattah and Yazid themselves, the label launched in late 2018 the first release ‘Ana 3ami9’ from Daxin and Amyn which garnered over a million views.

The collective then regrouped in early 2020 to present us with their latest release - ‘Loop’ by Amyn feat. Sygma coupled with a music video reminiscent of Yazid’s work on Issam’s ‘Makinch Zhar’. The collective is also set to work with the likes of Taemintekken and Kosei, and Anasx from Morocco for the upcoming phase of releases.
