Jordanian Rapper Emsallam Teams Up With The Archiducer to Release 'Postcolonialism'
After a slow build up of of singles and videos, it's finally out.

Two days ago, Jordanian rapper Msallam Hdaib has just released a 16 track album, Postcolonialism, on his Youtube channel. While 15 of the tracks are produced by Emsallam's longtime collaborator, The Archiducer, the last one is by Hdaib himself. The album covers an array of sounds ranging from trap, sampling of Egyptian theatrical plays, and collaborations with rappers such as Al Wesam, El Far3i, Krist Alzou’bi and Palestinian vocalist Ruba Shamshoum.
The album is his second after The Last Step, released in 2016, and was preceded by two videos for tracks off of the album “Ana Bamasi Ettamas” and “Ijramen Anhen.”

Emsallam, The Archiducer and all the collaborators joined forces to create a dense piece of work, that will take you on a trip once you give it some of your time and your focus. Like most good, meaningful music, it takes time.
