Indie Outfit Kuwaisiana Release Music Video for Khaleeji-Inspired ‘Bara7a’ Ahead of New EP
Ahead of the release of their second EP, ‘Chapter 2’, the band’s latest single channels funk, ska, indie rock, New Orleans Jazz and even Khaleeji music.

Multicultural Louisiana-based sextet, Kuwaisiana, released the first single ‘Bara7a’ off of their upcoming album Chapter 2 (set to drop on January 15th). Helmed by singer/songwriter and guitarist, +Aziz, Kuwaisiana is composed of French drummer Matthieu, Turkish trumpeter Dehan Elćin, bassist Sam Levine, Nick Ferreirae on the sax, and American hand-percussionist Patrick Driscoll.
‘Bara7a’ blends indie rock, funk, ska, New Orleans jazz, and elements of Khaleeji music, and follows the story of frontman +Aziz’s experiences as an adolescent in Kuwait, smoothly transitioning between lyrics in both Arabic and English.
