Lo-fi hip hop and trip-hop beats have garnered much recognition over recent years, lauded as the go to genre for chill vibes or background work music for generation X, with tonnes of YouTube playlists popping up.
The founder of Saudi's first FM hip-hop radio show as well as Re-Volt blog, as well as online shows The Beat DXB and Buckle Up with Big Hass, has just created a two-and-a-half hour compilation in the same vein, but one that solely celebrates Arab beat-makers, following a call-out for submissions.

"It's a compilation of chilled out/lo-fi beats by Arab producers as an attempt to highlight this genre in the region and the strong potential of Arab creatives," Big Hass told SceneNoise. "This small project was a way for me to diversify out of hip-hop, but still support local/regional producers. It's a great set to disconnect to, yet remain connected."
The mixtape, whose artwork was done by UAE-based Egyptian illustrator, Nora Zeid, features the likes of Sufyvn, Sandhill, Moseqar, Elepheel, Wa3ak and many more, and it's the first of a string of similar project sfrom Big Hass.
