While he may have first made his name on Egypt’s growing hip-hop scene as a producer – working with the likes of Wegz - Batistuta continues to prove his worth as a rapper.
His latest track, ‘New Wave’, comes off the back of a recent collaboration with fellow Alexandria native and mahraganat artist, Afroto, and it seems that he’s taken some of the influence into the new track, as hip-hop and mahraganat continue to brew together in studios and on stages across Egypt.
