Abou Alam's 'N+B' sits alongside tracks by the likes of Global Warming, Flint and Viewtiful Joe.

Cairo-based producer Hassan Abou Alam’s track ‘N+B’ has been featured on Casablanca-based electro breakbeat music label Casa Voyager’s latest compilation album, data+press vol. 1. Taking its name from a central railway station in Casablanca and founded in 2012, Casa Voyager offers electro breakbeat music and boasts an impressive roster of music-makers on the new record, including Global Warming, Flint and Viewtiful Joe.

Abou Alam’s contribution is a slight departure from his last release, January 2020’s T44. This time around the pace is faster and the track as a whole bares similarities to early UK garage’s use of breakbeats, hi-hats and snares. The album is available on Bandcamp.
