Egyptian Experimental Label Sound of Noize Welcomes Newcomer Darb with Bass-Loaded Single ‘wrshan’
Following up their ambitious online festival earlier this month, Sound of Noize’s first release of 2021 sees the arrival of newcomer Darb.
Just a year after it’s initial conception, Egyptian experimental label, Sound of Noize, has quickly found itself a niche within the regional electronic scene, delivering a constant stream of EPs and singles throughout 2020, and culminated in a three-day festival earlier this January alongside Berlin-based radio platform/community, Hizz Ya Wizz.

With their first release of the year, Sound of Noize introduces newcomer Darb with thier low end-heavy single ‘wrshan’, which draws on chaabi rhythms, atmospheric pads and a surging Reese bass straight out of the 90s hardcore breakbeat scene.
