Beirut-based, Syrian-Philipino rapper, Chyno with a Why?, follows up his 2018 album Terminal — which released in collaboration with Jordanian rapper (and fellow Warner signee) The Synaptik — with a new 15-track project, Mamluk.

The extensive project features a veritable cast of artists and longtime collaborators, with Mbee, Zoog, Asifeh, and Shourbagy on production duties, and El Rass, The Synaptik, El Far3i of 47Soul, Illiam, K.A.R.L, Samer A.K., Zeinedin, and the late Double A The Preacherman providing guest verses throughout Mamluk.

If the album title wasn't enough of a hint, Mamluk sees Chyno continue to expand upon his socially conscious lyrical style, drawing upon historical themes, the troubles of the Lebanese revolution, and his own experiences of living as a bi-racial individual in a largely homogenous Arab world, coupled with the realities of his continued growth within the music industry.
