Egypt’s Rozzma Shimmies and Shakes His Way Through an Empty Cairo in New Music Video for ‘Sayeb’
Just a few months after Rozzma’s staggering sophomore EP dropped on legendary UK label, XL Recordings, the Egyptian producer/rapper has released a new video for closing track ‘Sayeb’

Egyptian rapper/producer Rozzma’s late 2020 EP, Khatar Sayeb, rounded up what was already a wild year with a bombastic fusion of rave-rap, blistering North African rhythms and left-field electronic elements that surprised us as much as the EP’s surprise release on legendary UK label, XL Recordings.

Now, Rozzma has returned with the release of his latest music video for ‘Sayeb’, which closed off the EP with a dizzying flurry of rapid-fire electronics and lyrics that nicely tied together the themes of the whole project. Collaborating with the likes of prolific Egyptian VJ, Noushka Farag, and visual artists Hashem El Saifi and Mahmoud Shiha from Cairo's Epic101 Studios, the music video features the titular rapper dropping some fancy footwork at a variety of abandoned locales around Cairo, from graffiti-filled alleyways to expansive rooftop panoramas.
