Tul8te Returns with Mounir-Inspired Folksy Pop Single ‘Seneen’

Riding the momentum of his chart-topping single ‘El Hob Gany’, which held the number one spot on the official MENA charts for nine consecutive weeks, Egyptian pop star Tul8te opens 2026 with a new breakup anthem, ‘Seneen’.

Written, produced, and composed by Tul8te himself during a particularly dark chapter of his life, the track confronts emotional numbness and the feeling of being suspended in time. Staying true to the introspective spirit of earlier releases like ‘Shedeeny’ and ‘Oyun El Nas’, his lyrics cut deep, delivered through raw, almost detached vocals. The stripped-back production mirrors the song’s emotional weight, anchored by clean, organic claps recorded live with his band, and subtle sonic nods to icons like Mohamed Mounir and Ahmed Mounib.

‘Seneen’ arrives on the heels of Tul8te’s hugely successful album Narein, which amassed over 300 million streams across platforms, cementing its place as one of the region’s biggest releases of 2025. The track hints at a turning point, or rather a new era for Tul8te, where he perhaps begins to stretch beyond the ‘90s Arabic pop sound he’s become synonymous with.
