Shana’s New Single 'La B3eed' Is an Intimate Portrait of Rebirth

After years of performing across Europe and the Middle East, including a standout appearance on The Voice France, Lebanese artist Shana opens a new chapter with her first Arabic single, ‘La B3eed’.

Written and produced by multidisciplinary Lebanese artist Zef, the track is a poetic meditation on renewal and self-acceptance. Shana reflects on years of self-doubt and change, now finding freedom in embracing her roots. “This is still me, just heard through a new lens,” she tells SceneNoise. “Every song I’ve released until now has quietly led me here, to the confidence of singing in my own language.”

Lyrically, ‘La B3eed’ keeps things stripped down, almost disarmingly simple, as if mirroring the rawness of starting over. Shana isn’t reaching for grand metaphors; instead, she’s letting go, reconnecting with her Arabic identity in the most natural way possible.

Zef’s production follows suit; minimal and melancholic, built around delicate strings and muted guitars that let Shana’s vocal performance carry the emotional weight with an entrancingly soulful delivery that captures her vulnerability. “To me, [La B3eed] is about reaching a point where it feels like there’s still more inside, more to say. I knew that it should be sung by someone who has fire within.” Zef tells SceneNoise.

‘La B3eed’ music video, directed by award-winning filmmaker Elie Fahed, mirrors the track’s emotional unravelling through surreal choreography and striking visual metaphors. At its core, the video captures the process of shedding skin, confronting fear, and finding calm in uncertainty.

With ‘La B3eed’, Shana offers an honest reflection of everything she’s learned by listening to herself, and the calm that follows when she finally does.
