Saint Levant returns with a new single ‘Daloona’, an ode to his native Palestine that shines light on the powerful spirit of the Palestinian resilience even in the most challenging of times. Featuring 47Soul, Shadi Borini and Qasem Al Najjar, the track is an upbeat celebratory anthem that highlights moments of joy amid hardship and suffering, reflecting the depth of Palestinian identity.
“Right now, we’re suffering immensely. And because of this, to the public and unknowing eyes, the world sees a dark, sad, and partial reality. Just like everybody else in the world, we have moments of joy. People are still getting married. People like SOL Band in GAZA are keeping this joy alive. I just want to show that we Palestinians can have joy, that this community exists, and that there is PRIDE in this identity,” Saint Levant says about ‘Daloona’.
The track is accompanied by a music video, directed by Cannes-nominated Gazan filmmakers Tarzan and Arab Nasser, which captures the joyful spirit of a traditional Palestinian wedding through nostalgic VHS-style visuals.
