In this edition of our Rap of the Week playlist, we highlight standout hip-hop releases from across the MENA region. This week has seen several exciting releases from superstar rappers, including Marwan Pablo, Wegz, Abyusif, ElGrandeToto and more.

‘Ana’ marks Wegz’s return to the hip-hop scene. Jumping on a rage beat produced by the acclaimed Moustafa Moustafa, Wegz flexes his rap skills, delivering sharp one-liners and reaffirming his position in the industry. Additionally, one of the biggest projects of the year so far comes from two of Egypt’s biggest rap superstars, Abyusif and Marwan Pablo, who unexpectedly dropped ‘7OB & KASHAT’. We’ve selected ‘SMCKDAT’ for its high-energy vibe and technical mastery, as the two rappers exchange verses seamlessly over Omar Taa’i’s driving beat.
