Egyptian musician Nadah El Shazly returns with her new single ‘Ghorzetein’ (‘Two Stitches’), a track from her upcoming album ‘Laini Taini’.

Co-produced by acclaimed experimental artist 3Phaz, the song is built on exhilarating, off-kilter drum patterns and haunting pads, creating an atmosphere of tension that escalates throughout its four-minute runtime. Nadah’s emotive vocals weave through this intense sonic landscape, providing a striking contrast to the track’s relentless, marching energy.

Lyrically, Ghorztein plays with a motif of duality - two stitches, two butterflies, two words. Though ambiguous, this repetition adds a mystical quality to the song, leaving space for interpretation.

The single offers a glimpse into Nadah’s evolving sound as she prepares for her next project. The forthcoming album will be her first solo release since her acclaimed debut ‘Ahwar’, and will follow her avant-garde collaboration with Welsh musician Elvin Brandhi.
