ISSAM Drops New Track ‘Hendrix’ Ahead of Debut LP on Def Jam Island

Moroccan rapping sensation, ISSAM, is back with a new single ‘Hendrix’, marking his second release of what promises to be a huge 2021. The rapper has been releasing consistently ever since the end of 2020 in the wake of a historic deal with Def Jam Island Records that will see him release his debut album, Crystal - an LP first teased in December, 2020 with its first single, ‘WJAHNA DEEP'.It’s unclear whether ‘Hendrix’ will be part of the album, but what is clear is that ISSAM has dialled things up several notches since first bursting on the scene in 2018 with his viral hit, ‘Trap Beldi’. ‘Hendrix’ is another excellent fusion of fast-paced, hard-hitting trap beats with his signature soothing and effortless flow - a combination that is quickly becoming a trademark of arguably the hottest rapper in MENA right now.

Whether ‘Hendrix’ will be included on Crystal is to be seen, but either way it’s already one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
