Egyptian Artists Novo & pre kai ro Team Up for Rock/R&B Track ‘BTFL’

A familiar name to readers of SceneNoise, Egyptian R&B artist NOVO has teamed up with Dubai-based pre kai ro for a track that sees the pair take caution against love. ‘BTFL’  lies somewhere between RAE SREMMURD and The Backstreet Boys, with NOVO’s penchant for rock seamlessly sitting side by side with Cairo-based pre kai ro’s more autotuned trap aesthetic. The track was produced by NOVO himself with co-production by frequent collaborators ISSA & ASSOUAD.

For NOVO in particular, this is an important release, coming as the first after his November 2020 debut EP, Love & Madness. The seven-track album arrived in fanfare in his native Cairo with a special album release party at Cairo Jazz Club, and it provided the first full showcase of an eclectic repertoire that had only previously been hinted at through a string of singles.
