Chiati & KairoKid Face Reluctant Goodbyes on ‘Feels Like I’m Dreaming’
Egyptian artists Chiati & KairoKid pair emotive vocals with crisp melodic house production on their latest single ‘Feels Like I’m Dreaming’ released via Madorasindahouse Records.
Prominent Egyptian producer and multi-instrumentalist Chiati joins forces with Egyptian-Canadian singer-songwriter KairoKid on ‘Feels Like I’m Dreaming’, a melodic house single released through Greek label Madorasindahouse Records (MIDH). The track marks a vibrant crossover, merging Chiati’s club-ready, emotive production with KairoKid’s narrative lyricism and smooth vocal delivery.
From the opening moments, a detailed rhythm section takes center stage. Chiati lays down a driving base of kicks, hi-hats, and toms, layering the groove with choppy rhythmic pads, subtle percussion embellishments, and quick hits of production ear candy. Despite the track's playful bounce, a melancholic undertone takes shape as KairoKid enters. His pensive vocals tackle the disorienting feeling of watching a bond disintegrate, questioning reality and grappling with the impulse to hold on.
The arrangement opens up at the drop, shifting from introspective verses into peak energy. Dramatic, stab-like synths puncture the mix while a distorted sub-bass provides a heavy foundation. Overhead, a warm lead synth steers the primary melody, keeping the track's emotional core in clear view.
