In 2021, Long Beach California native Emmy Meli reaped the fruits of TikTok’s algorithm when she posted a video of her singing a hook that, unbeknownst to her, would become the anthem of self love for that year, and the next. The song is none other than ‘I AM WOMAN’, the artist none other than a powerful, sexy, divine, unbeatable, creative who has impacted listeners across the world.
We had the special honour of sitting (virtually) with the talented superstar to find out more about her writing process, her growth as an artist, and what we can see from her in the future.
