While it might be somewhat of a cliché to say that an artist lets their emotions flow through their music, for some artists, expression comes most naturally through sonic proweress. As is the case for Egyptian electronic-indie pop artist Samar Tarik, whose connection with music has been a formative facet of her upbringing. Having been surrounded by instruments since childhood, and raised with a love of music throughout her family, the artist began to create her own music and lyrics at an early age. Her skills as a songwriter grew with her, and today, they have developed into a style that is both vivid and expressive, resonating with thousands of listeners across the region.
