Al Azhar's Genina Theater's got a special program set for Ramadan, with the first lineup featuring the musician who's composed for pop icons like Amr Diab and Hamid El Shaary. Nasser El Mezdawi combines Berber, Arab, and popular European beats, and he'll be sharing the night with one of the few instrumental music bands in Egypt, Dokkan, who are set to perform contemporary music infused with traditional Egyptian melodies.
