Quit Together is more or less the story of ZULI & Bosaina’s primary reactions to each other's sounds. After a series of sessions in Cairo, the duo decided to ditch the city life for the NXT LYFE, taking on the monikers DR & DR LADY whilst hiding out in a beach house with the two furry members of the band, Shih Tzus Disco and Shaniqua. This break, though, acted only as a catalyst for their creative relationship; it was mainly their influences on each other (as people first, then artists next) that encouraged the duo to produce a genre-bending repetoire of music that takes its audience from semblances of trip-hop to definitive future pop.
