After Electrum Records announced the twelve hopeful DJs that will take on the challenge of a lifetime in the Student DJ Competition, the road is paved for a succession of battles that will make or break each eager contestant.

Every Friday till the 3rd of July, two students will battle out their musical wits and what they've learned at Beats Camp on Fairmont's beautiful SkyPool in hopes of becoming Egypt's next big DJ. First up this week will be dance floor filler Mostafa Emad, an Indie, Tech and Deep House producer going up against experienced House and Trance DJ John Damien who was once ranked 29^th in the Middle East by DJ Mag. 

An international deck dazzler will join the two battling DJs every week in front of the scutinizing ears of Electrum's selected judges. This week's headliner is DJ and Sleazy Deep Records owner from London, Rob Made. If that's not all enough last years finalist DJ Batawi will also be giving a helping hand on the decks!
