What does tiny eastern European country Lithuania have to offer to the world? Pretty damn good jazz apparently. The Dainius Pulauskas Group’s got the whole ‘progressive European jazz-fusion’ thing down, a term we’re decoding as jazz with an interesting twist. They’re a big deal back in their home country, having won several awards and beaten all local records by rising to the hall of fame of Lithuanian jazz in an amazingly short time. So if you wanna listen to some mellow melodies, you should check this group out.
