This week's select comes courtesy of Mo Ezabyy, a Dubai-based Egyptian photographer and DJ driven by a passion for electronic music. Ezabyy's career kicked off at an early age while he was still in Egypt, when he found himself drawn to the underground house sound played by the likes of Sven Vath, Carl Cox and Dave Seaman, and in no time, it blossomed and led him to play alongside his inspirations and staples of the underground scene like Matthew Dekay, NTFO and Silat Beksi to name a few.
In 2018, he started throwing his own night in Dubai "Unfold" with an aim to freely express art and musical ideas in a single intimate space, and grow a genuine community around him.
Lately, Ezaby has been focusing on going back to the roots of the DJ craft, which has led him to having a particular fondness for the raw vinyl medium.
Prepare for a deep minimal journey.
