This week’s Select is by Cairo’s Mike Mamdouh, who’s been busy in the studio in the last few months, crafting a sound that lies somewhere between deep house and funk. He took the lead at numerous intimate gatherings and after-parties, developing experience from there. His set for us carries a cheerful dose of funk and retro, that’s just as suitable for pre-gaming as it is for a road trip.
